Hope your'e well!

Quote by BarmOi, when you use a gun keep your distance be out of reach of the sword or other weapon(no point blanks). Don't talk just shoot. Make sure the bastard is dead and walk away. Don't say a word; act like nothing happened. I'd like to be your friend. You have your head screwed on just the right way. I have heard of the beheading of the great American Nick Berg. Rusty dull edges suck. Hope you like my post. A M E R I C A R O C K S!

Quote by lthnadml(chain post)(it might be spam to you)
Jenny was so happy about the house they had found. For once in her life 'twas on the right side of town. She unpacked her things with such great ease. As she watched her new curtains blow in the breeze. How wonderful it was to have her own room. School would be starting; she'd have friends over soon. There'd be sleep-overs, and parties; she was so happy It's just the way she wanted her life to be. On the first day of school, everything went great. She made new friends and even got a date! She thought, "I want to be popular and I'm going to be, Because I just got a date with the star of the team!" To be known in this school you had to have clout, And dating this guy would sure help her out. There was only one problem stopping her fate. Her parents had said she was too young to date. "Well I just won't tell them the entire truth. They won't know the difference; what's there to lose?" Jenny asked to stay with her friends that night. Her parents frowned but said, "All right." Excited, she got ready for the big event But as she rushed around like she had no sense, She began to feel guilty about all the lies, But what's a pizza, a party, and a moonlight ride? Well the pizza was good, and the party was great, But the moonlight ride would have to wait. For Dan was half drunk by this time. But he kissed her and said that he was just fine. Then the room filled with smoked and Dan took a puff. Jenny couldn't believe he was smoking that stuff. Now Dan was ready to ride to the point But only after he'd smoked another joint. They jumped in the car for the moonlight ride, Not thinking that he was too drunk to drive. They finally made it to the point at last, And Dan started trying to make a pass. A pass is not what Jenny wanted at all (and by a pass, I don't mean playing football.) "Perhaps my parents were right....maybe I am too young. Boy, how could I ever, ever be so dumb." With all of her might, she pushed Dan away: "Please take me home, I don't want to stay." Dan cranked up the engine and floored the gas. In a matter of seconds they were going too fast. As Dan drove on in a fit of wild anger, Jenny knew that her life was in danger. She begged and pleaded for him to slow down, But he just got faster as they neared the town. "Just let me get home! I'll confess that I lied. I really went out for a moonlight ride." Then all of a sudden, she saw a big flash. "Oh God, Please help us! We're going to crash!" She doesn't remember the force of impact. Just that everything all of a sudden went black. She felt someone remove her from the twisted rubble, And heard, "call an ambulance! These kids are in trouble! Voices she heard...a few words at best. But she knew there were two cars involved in the wreck. Then wondered to herself if Dan was all right, And if the people in the other car was alive. She awoke in the hospital to faces so sad. "You've been in a wreck and it looks pretty bad." These voices echoed inside her head, As they gently told her that Dan was dead. They said "Jenny, we've done all we can do. But it looks as if we'll lose you too." "But the people in the other car!?" Jenny cried. "We're sorry, Jenny, they also died." Jenny prayed, "God, forgive me for what I've done I only wanted to have just one night of fun." "Tell those people's family, I've made their lives dim, And wish I could return their families to them." "Tell Mom and Dad I'm sorry I lied, And that it's my fault so many have died. Oh, nurse, won't you please tell them that for me?" The nurse just stood there-she never agreed. But took Jenny's hand with tears in her eyes. And a few moments later Jenny died. A man asked the nurse, "Why didn't you do your best To bid that girl her one last request?" She looked at the man with eyes so sad. "Because the people in the other car were her mom and dad." This story is sad and unpleasant but true, So young people take heed, it could have been you.

Please listen to this angel's request......
If you do the small favor she asks to come true, She will be sent down to guard and protect you.
Please....do it for Jenny.
Send it and see what happens in four days. You will get a surprise. This is true, even if you are not superstitious.

Quote by BarmThanks for putting me on your friends list. Oh, and I was wanting to know if you dislike chalk pastels as much as I do? Well until then, see you later space cowboy!

No problem! Its always nice to meet new people! Oh and chalk pastels?? Hmm i dunno, haha, im not sure if i dislike them or not.

r q g

i dont mean sub titles
dubbing like when they put astroboy into english was the real start
i know that you can download the series as it goes, but you should have to buy it if you do that so that the makers get the money that they deserve

and yes anime is too much, but what people dont realize is that if you buy the dvds for 30$ it will go down in price because they will make more money to produce it cheaper

Quote by BarmInuyasha! I am greatful for you adding me to your friends list, but Inuyasha come on. Sorry it is just a thing I have about Inusyasha. It all started when I was in a drawing contest with girl and she threw down her copying skills and drew Inuyasha. The contest was never decided between her "Inuyasha" and my Sakura Matsuri a girl sitting on a cherry blossom. It is really sad. Well Inuyasha isn't all that bad, but I don't watch it much, oh and if you are ever in a drawing contest against me in the high school I graduated from please don't draw inuyasha! Anywho enough joking around, I need to get crackin' on some homework. :<

? ok then well do you wanna be friends? yea i like Inuyasha its cool!!!

Thanks for posting in my guestbook and adding me to your friendlist.

Anyway, about Grandia for the PSX and Saturn - it was originally a Saturn game designed by GameArts (you know GameArts from the Lunar series) to be the next "Final Fantasy killer" - the killer app for Saturn RPG fans. While it wasn't that much of a success, it did gather quite a following. It was originally intended to be brought to the U.S. as a Saturn game by Working Designs (which would have made sense, being they were the best Saturn RPG publisher in America, and they had brought GameArts' other games) - but Bernie Stolar made a Hissy Fit over Sega's licensing policies and thus there was no Saturn version of Grandia for the US. Ironically, Sony did pick this up for the PSX in 99 or 2000. The PSX version was inferior to the Saturn version. It had moderate success, mostly because of the charming characters and story, and a very active battle sytem - But the voice acting and translation was esophagus-burning, ear-scrapingly horrible. It was still a great little RPG, and one that brings me good memories.
It's a good thing Ubi Soft picked up Grandia II for the Dreamcast (since Victor Ireland, of Working Designs did everything they could to help sink Sega's new machine. )

While Grandia II does not have the charming story the original has (this one is more mature), the battle system is perfect, and the graphics and music are awesome. The american version has the MGS2 cast for Voice Acting, too.

I myself bought the PS2 version before the Dreamcast one. As it's usual with Sony, the PS2 version is painfully inferior to the Dreamcast one. It looks like it's running on a badly coded emulator. It goes under 15fps sometimes (and the original Dreamcast one goes 60fps all the time). I recommend getting the Dreamcast version. I did afterwards, and I don't regret it at all.

As for Grandia Xtreme, the graphics are an improvement over the PS2 version of Grandia 2, but it's not better than the Dreamcast version. The voice acting took a hit as well, even if Mark Hammil has the lead role (Yup, the force's not with him this time). The battle system is seriously improved, though, and it's very fun to fight and explore. What really kills this game, other than sub-par audio, is the lack of a story and balance. It feels like an alpha version of a complete Grandia game. You know, before they wrote the story, they made the dungeons and battle system to test it and then... suddenly, deadline.

Anyway, Grandia 3 is due soon. Let's hope it's not that bad.

About Skies of Arcadia... I own it and love it. One of my treasures. My girlfriend and I play it together, so we... don't get very far, as "other matters" keep making us turn the system off after the first save point we see. But I've completed before it by myself, and it really is a great RPG. If you have a Dreamcast, you HAVE to have Skies of Arcadia.

Sorry if the post is a bit too long. Thanks for signing on my guestbook, and see you around.
